We provide a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens of Lynnwood, including fire prevention and fire suppression, public education, emergency medical, hazardous materials and specialized rescue responses.

Our department consists of 48 full-time career firefighter/EMT's, paramedics and fire
inspectors, supplemented by 8 reserve firefighters, protecting 35,000 residents in a 7 sq. mi. area.

We staff 2
stations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in 3 rotating 24 hr. shifts ( A, B & C shifts).  Our firefighters and medics respond to an average of 6,000 alarms annually, approximately 75% of which are emergency medical calls.

Our stations are located at 18800 44th AV.W. (Sta.15), and 18800 68th AV.W. (Sta.14).  Station 15 houses a paramedic unit, aid unit, engine, ladder truck, air bottle refill van, hazardous materials response unit, support 7, and a reserve aid car. Station 14 houses an aid car, engine and reserve engine.

Free blood pressure checks are available at station 14 (Blue Ridge) between the hours of 8am-5pm,7 days a week (if the crew is in quarters), and at station 15 (Civic Center) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from     9am until noon.

The department provides CPR & first aid classes each weekend. You can register for these classes by contacting the recreation center at 425-771-4030 during normal business hours.  In cooperation with several area fire departments, FEMA, and the Snohomish County Emergency Services Coordinating Agency (ESCA), we also provide Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training several times a year. For additional information or to register for CERT classes contact ESCA at 425-776-3722.

This website is still being developed, and new features and articles will be added as they are completed.  We plan to include weekly alarm reports and statistics, along with current department news and ongoing fire prevention education, so check back often.
